About Us

Metcalfe Public School Council meets every first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. If you are interested in attending please feel free to stop by. We welcome all parents. You are also welcome to read through minutes from our past meetings.

Who We Are

We are all parents who are interested in making our children’s learning experience at MPS the best it can be. Each year, a new Council is elected the first meeting in September and serve until the subsequent year’s election.
We are here to serve you, so feel free to contact us at any time to express a concern, ask a question, or simply to let us know if you think we’re doing a good job!

What We Do

Council augments the formal school program by delivering our own programs and financial support throughout the year. All funds raised by Council are redistributed back into the school. Currently we run a Hot Lunch Program and the Jingle Bells Bazaar. Visit our Programs page for further details.

When Do We Meet?

We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m at Metcalfe Public School. All parents are welcome. Drop by and add your voice to the mix.
